This also manifests as a boot failure with ppc64_guest_defconfig. llvm/llvm-project#127376 is the proposed fix.

@bzEq it fixes the crash but I am still seeing the boot failures (even though I thought I tested that it did…). I will try to investigate this quickly.

I at least see why I thought the fix for the crash fixed the boot regressions, I was checked out at the parent revision... 🙄

@bzEq I opened #2072 for the crash with some extra information I was able to uncover.

The culprit commit is reverted and I've posted my fix in llvm/llvm-project#116984 (comment).
