I use https://github.com/Code-Hex/puipui-linux for testing virtualization framework Go bindings. The initramfs distributed here include a server that binds vsock connections and ssh, which is started by socat. Therefore, in Go testing, ssh is used to realize command execution without worrying about IP addresses.
Artifacts are so small that they do not affect the running time of the CI.
