Comfy 2.0 Can't pin/unpin multiple items

What happened?

In the pre 2.0 version of ComfyUI, you could hold ctrl to select multiple items, then right click on any of the mand select pin/unpin and it would apply this to all items selected. In ComfyUI 2.0, this no longer works. This is a major drawback and needs correcting.

The pin/unpin action in ComfyUI 2.0 is still designed to operate on all currently selected nodes, not just the one you right-click. The code loops through all selected nodes and toggles their pin state in batch, so the intended behavior is for pin/unpin to apply to multiple items at once, just like in previous versions. There are also core commands for batch pin/unpin that confirm this design intent (source).

However, there are known issues with multi-select reliability in the new frontend, especially with Ctrl+click selection and inconsistent selection state, which can break batch actions like pin/unpin (source). A recent refactor changed how multi-selection works, and this may have introduced regressions affecting batch operations (source).

Crashes when attempting to pin/unpin multiple items are not expected from the pin/unpin logic itself—there's no special error handling around these actions—so the crash likely originates elsewhere in the graph handling code. There are also ongoing reports of frontend crashes in recent versions, especially on Chrome/Chromium, sometimes triggered by UI actions or selection bugs (source).

There isn't a direct workaround for restoring reliable multi-item pin/unpin in the current version, but using a different browser or reverting to an older frontend version has helped some users with related UI regressions (source). The maintainers are aware of missing and broken UI features in Nodes 2.0 and plan to restore or fix some of them in future updates.

Further testing shows that if you select multiple items and then right click one, all other items lose focus except for the one that you right click. I switched back to non 2.0 and tested this and it functions as it should. Right clicking on a group of selected items affects all selected items.

I'm not able to replicate this on 1.32 when I use the options button on the toolbox
However it is true that when you rightclick, the items deselect and select only one sometimes
