TodoApp.MAUI does not compile - Functioning version attached

The sampe ToDoApp.MAUI does not compile.

To reproduce download the code and try compiling.

Have made a functioning version in the attached repository:

This version runs .NET MAUI 9 and has been tested on Windows, Android and iOS. It has the same functrionality as the original ToDoApp.MAUI.

In what way does the original not compile? What errors are you getting?

The original was explicitly written for .NET 8 (not 9) and has not been updated to .NET 9 yet. I appreciate your work here, but the .NET 9 compatible library has not been released yet.

Hi Adrian Some of the changes need to compile (as well as logic that did not work) to .NET 8: * Decorations [RelayCommad] was missing from MainViewModel methods * AddItemAsync type changed from string to object and initialization changed accordingly * DbContext does not contain OnDatasyncInitialization hence cannot be overridden. FYI unless you don't care, you might want to remove your actual server endpoint URL from the repo; I was just able to add an item to it (unknowingly, I thought I was just running locally).

You likely already had the database around - EnsureCreated() only creates the appropriate structure if the database is new.

After going through the changes, I noted that a few changes you made were superfluous. I made the changes necessary to bring it up to working - see #243
