Welcome to the Peercoin-tasks wiki!
This is an experimental project to support paid tasks contributing to the peercoin network or its community. We are using issues as task descriptions. Each issues describes what you need to do to obtain tips. When you complete a task you have to edit a specific file in the repository according to the instructions to obtain your tip.
To be able to receive tips you need to do the following:
- Create a github acccount (and best to add verified email address to this account to obtain your coins)
- Fork this repository Cybnate/peercoin-tasks (click on fork on upper right corner) if you think there are one or more tasks you are able and willing to do.
- Check the issues to know what kind of tasks are required and what can be earned and how. Each issue is a different task. Issues created by others might not have related tasks. Check whether an issue has a related file in the repository. If it doesn't, there are probably no tips attached to it (yet).
- If you have chosen a task to work on exclusively, please post your expression of interest by adding your case (why you are good to this) to the issue. That way others know what you are doing and we are preventing double work. Please also add how much time you would take. In some occasions the project/task maintainer may invite you to obtain a tip or tips in advance. You will be instructed on what to do if that's the case or it will be described in the issue/task.
- In the charter of each task a deadline maybe applicable. Most tasks cannot be uniquely held for longer than 3 days. Check with project/task maintainer first if it is ok to take more time. Just check the issue and the related task (=file) for any further instructions regarding the task.
- If you have completed your task edit the text file according to the instructions in there.
- Once in a while the project owner will go through the commits and accept them where appropiate. When your commit is pulled you will receive an email. Click on the link in the email. You will need to have earned at least 1 PPC in total before you get paid.
- If your commit is not accepted, check the related issue for a post from the project/task maintainer. The project/task maintainer might have some comments why you haven't been tipped.
- When there is a dispute, please raise a separate issue in the project and the community will be invited to vote during 7 days. Both the issue raiser and project maintainer may advertise to obtain voters.
