Ammar Ammar is a Research Software Engineer at the Diagnostic Image Analysis Group at [Radboud UMC](https://www.radboudumc.nl/en/research), working mainly on the [Grand Challenge](https://grand-challenge.org/) project, under the supervision of [member/james-meakin]. He was previously a PhD candidate at the department of Bioinformatics at [Maastricht University](https://www.maastrichtuniversity.nl) where he worked on enhancing nanosafety data interoperability and reusability adopting the FAIR principles, community standards and Semantic Web technologies. He has experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, data quality & interoperability, knowledge graphs, ontologies & linked data. |
