Fixed a bunch of things to allow for dev on windows machines
yarn rundoesn't work in Git Bash due to strange path modification yarnpkg/yarn#5717)Verified that this still works on Unix systems on my Ubuntu VM, but it'd be good if one of the Mac OS users could verify as well please?
