I could be wrong, but it appears that the only way to create a sticky/pinned column is to use a header context menu.

  • I would like to request a TableConfig mechanism for pre-configuring the DataTable with a pinned/sticky column.
  • I would also like to request the ability to disable the context menu completely.

Sometimes a DataTable needs a pinned/sticky column, but not allow the user to unpin it at runtime.

Also, I would like to request the even/odd styling of pinned/sticky columns to carry through. They appear to not be styled the same way as the rest of the rows. This may warrant a separate ticket. Screenshot:
