Create a flex layout using this code:

DivElement contianer = div().addCss(dui_flex, dui_flex_row, dui_justify_start)

Next try to hide the container using .hide().

This. will not work, because the display: flex overrides display: none, as you can see here:

An easy work around is to wrap the div with the dui_flex CSS and use hide() on the wrapper.
