Window dragging is jumpy

Describe the bug
when dragging a window it is very hard to keep the mouse in the titlebar. You have to drag very slowly otherwise it loses capture. What's even weirder is that if it loses capture it doesn't register the mouse released event and moving the mouse in the title bar moves the window even if the mouse is no longer pressed.

To Reproduce
run demo app, drag window, move mouse quickly

Expected behavior
move the window when the mouse moves
