This is a big one for PolyGlot! 2.0! This is largely due to the UI revamp, which is much overdue. I hope that this is more useful to everyone and easier to use than the last UI was. It's also a massive bugfix update. As with most major releases, perhaps 2/3 of all the code changes have been to quash various bugs. If something goes wrong, please tell me, or I can't fix it! Anyhoo. On to listing the new goodies in this version.

  • total UI revamp
  • Upgraded to iText 7.0.1 for PDF printing
  • Created freetext option for classes (arbitrary text field added to words)/integrated with quickentry/PDF printing
  • Created a frontend, integrating PolyGlot for Windows users
  • added "Wipe all deprecated wordforms" function
  • comma delimits now work in searches
  • You can copy/paste/delete multiple rules in a conjugation at the same time
  • Split phonology into its own section
  • Added romanization table to phonology section/integrated it with relevant views/PDF printing
  • Eliminates dependence on Dropbox (when looking for updates)
  • Corrected an obscene number of bugs
