I'm about to start development on a branch, and am contemplating doing the work on my windows laptop. My GitHub for Windows client is working nicely, but before I start I want to make sure that I'm not going to be introducing problems with CR+LF line endings. I see that I can set a local attribute like:
git config core.autocrlf true
which should then do automatic line ending normalization as I communicate with the repo. Is this recommended?
