CMDR Phonetic name not being used in "Speech Responder" callouts #2574
-
For some reason, EDDI isn't updating the CMDR name from what is input in "Commander Details" for use in "Speech Responder" callouts. And I do know that the phonetic input is working, not only from the "hear it" command, but also when linking EDDI to Frontier API, it used the proper phonetic pronunciation. From what I know, there is only one CMDR name field, when coding callouts for the Speech Responder, but if there is another that specifically uses the phonetic, please let me know. Thank you! |

How are you invoking your commander name in your Speech Responder scripts? Can you provide a screenshot? |

cmdr.name
is designed to consistently return your written commander name rather than a phonetic name. For the phonetic rendering of the name you want to be using
cmdr.phoneticname
.
