OK, progress, little bot! Now we can actually get a recipe run log and all - https://esmvaltool.dkrz.de/shared/esmvaltool/esmvalbot-output/test_esmvalbot-m2n7emhc/recipe_python_20241024_111539/run/main_log.txt - still no access to the data perse, but am in horly contact with DKRZ via Carsten 🍺

it takes the bot about 4min to fail with a run error, which is fairly decent for a full env build + install ESMValTool; also, the env is built nicely with Python 3.12 python=3.12.7=hc5c86c4_0_cpython
