The Ensembl Funcgen API serves as the middle layer between the Funcgen MySQL database and the Ensembl website, providing access to regulatory features and microarray data.

As of release 113, the Funcgen API and database are not supported nor recommended for end-user access to Ensembl data. For information on how to access regulatory annotation, please see https://regulation.ensembl.org/help.
The latest regulatory build methods and tools do not use this repository.
