PalmOS displayed the week in 2 dimensions, like so

I would like to add this view to Etar.

I can open the Etar About window in AndroidStudio by opening res/layout/about.xml.
I cannot find respective xml files for the day, week or month windows.
Can you view day, week or month in Android Studio?

My current understanding is that xml files are used to layout the GUI.
Therfore I try to find the layout of a week and change it.

However I cannot find a suitable xml file.

Example for xml file is Etar-Calendar/res/layout/month_by_week.xml

This is only partially correct. The views you are looking for are drawn by code. Keyword "Canvas"

I am not making progress.

com.android.calendar/month/SimpleWeekViwer.java has an onDraw(Canvas canvas) function.

I tried to provoke a visual change by subtracting 3 in

SimpleWeeksAdapter Line 238 drawingParams.put(SimpleWeekView.VIEW_PARAMS_NUM_DAYS, mDaysPerWeek-3);

but without result.

Or by adding debug points but the debugger never hit these points.

So I am unsure if this code is actually executed.

I also find no place where the x/y coordinates for the week are set.
