The City of Kamloops has provided open data access to the municipal garbage pick up schedule for Kamloops. This access will allow the creation of applications and services that could be of value Kamloops citizens.

Kamloops Innovation is facilitating a group of local software developers to build a web application that uses the open data access. All are welcome to participate.

Minimal Viable Product:

Web interface that provides the user the ability to register a request to be emailed a notification X hours:minutes before the municipal garbage pick up time for their address.

This request will remain in place until changed or canceled by the user.

The notification will automatically change as the regular garbage pickup day for a given street address shifts after holidays.
