Upadate - Update notification does not appear for Desktop after waiting for 8 hours #7928

Issue was found when executing #7765

Action Performed:

  1. Sign in to the desktop staging app
  2. Sign in to the production desktop app
  3. Keep both apps open for 8 hours.

Expected Result:

Update notifications pop up for the desktop app hourly, and not for the staging version.

Actual Result:

Update notifications doesn't appear after leaving the app for 8 hours

Workaround:

I dont think so 😅 I think we can close this as you can QA it during everyday use.
