Fixed a problem where third test (chat opening) fails due to timeout.
Basically the problem happens because before that test we are running app
60 * 2
times. Each time we are sendingReconnectApp
request. Typical time to finish that request is 2.5-5 seconds. But sometimes our test execution gets finished faster and we don't receive a response (please note, that we store this request in a persisted queue, so if we didn't receive a response -> we store it in storage and we will re-execute this query on the next app run). When we run a third test - we have a condition to show skeleton if we have active network requests. Since we need to execute ~100 network request, with average duration 4s -> we have to spend 400 seconds just to wait for a screen to appear. Of course 400s > 300s (our timeout for test), so test gets failed because of a timeout.
To fix this error I had several ways:
SequentialQueue
is empty;Initially I thought that first approach is good enough, but a little bit later I realized that:
So in the end I decided to go in a slightly different direction - instead of terminating app when queue is empty we can simply reinstall the app (and queue will be cleared automatically).
However new approach requires to make a warmup two times (
requiresDoubleWarmup
) - before we performed login in first test, and a warmup for other tests actually executed the flow. After app re-installation we execute login only (first time) and the second time actual flow. Also I discovered that if we run local dev test, then
compare
will be undefined -> in this PR I fixed this problem by assigningcompare=baseline
in case ifcompare
is missing.Fixed Issues
