Details

In this PR we prevent displaying 'Scanning...' in Description filed when expense header displays Description instead of Merchant.

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Go to workspace chat.
3. Submit a scan expense.
4. While the expense is scanning, go to Search.

Manual Expense:

After submiting scan request

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Go to workspace chat.
3. Submit a manual expense. (Add Description and Merchant values in confirmation page)
4. While the expense is scanning, go to Search.

• Verify that there is 'Scanning...' message displayed below Merchant column for the scan request
• Verify that the merchant value you entered for manual expense is displayed below Merchant column for the manual request
• Verify that no errors appear in the JS console
