The high-fidelity demonstrator that is available through this repository presents one of the key outcomes of the consortial research project "WerteRadar - Gesundheitsdaten souverän spenden". The overarching goal of the interdisciplinary project was to redesign the sharing of personal health data by capturing and evaluating existing stakeholder values, based on the Value Sensitive Design method. The aim is to enable patients to share their data in a self-determined and reflective way, taking into account aspects of data privacy. Further details regarding the research project "WerteRadar - Gesundheitsdaten souverän spenden" can be found on the following website: WerteRadar.
This is a functional interactive prototype for a value-centered consent interface, which was developed with the goal of supporting patients in making informed and reflected decisions regarding data-donations for secondary research purposes following the "broad consent" approach.
In order to start the "WerteRadar Demonstrator" Docker
needs to be installed.
Run from the root folder of this repository:
docker-compose build
docker-compose up
The application should then be accessible via http://localhost:3000
The demonstrator was conceptualized and designed by researchers of the Human-Centered Computing research group at the Freie Univserität Berlin and implemented by Algonaut.
