There are some problems with the new Archfiend additions.

  1. When Archfiend Commander’s effect is activated to Special Summon Genesis Archfiend from the Graveyard, it will not allow me to attack with Genesis. I understand not being able to attack with Commander because of its own effect, but Genesis should be able to attack, right?
  2. There are some issues with the effect of the Spell card, Archfiend Palace. When I try to activate its effect to Special Summon another Fiend monster, nothing happens.
  3. You can't use two Genesis Archfiends to go into Number 22: Zombiestein

Here are the steps to encountering the issues:

For #1: Have Genesis Archfiend in the Graveyard, Normal Summon Archfiend Cavalry, Special Summon Archfiend Commander and destroy Cavalry to Special Summon Genesis. When you go to the Battle Phase, you won't be able to attack with Genesis Archfiend.

For #2: Normal Summon Tour Guide, Special Summon Trick Archfiend, Use Archfiend Palace effect to Target Trick Archfiend and banish Tour Guide to Special Summon another Trick Archfiend. When you try to do this, nothing happens.

       It's not just this instance, either; the field spell effect doesn't really work under normal circumstances. The effect to have all Fiend monsters you control gain 500 works, but the second one does not.

This is the wrong place to post these bugs, as those cards arent released yet.

  1. Commander cant summon Genesis.
  2. should be fixed on DevPro
  3. Genesis Archfiend prevents you from Special Summoning Non-Fiend Monsters
