Hello.

In ie8 all the icons disappear. Does anyone know of a workaround for this? Ive looked all over the internet but from what I can tell its just one of those things that everyone reports as a problem but that has never been fixed...

If they disappear all the time, please check that you are not using some javascript like: https://github.com/FortAwesome/Font-Awesome/wiki/Troubleshooting#revealjs

Please also add this js: https://github.com/FortAwesome/Font-Awesome/wiki/Troubleshooting#internet-explorer-8-caveats

IE8 has random issues with pseudo selectors: #954

Sorry but we at the moment can't provide a proper fix on our side
