The google docs file that Alex shared on discord has been converted into a page. Actually, I am planning to create a section on the homepage and direct it to this page, but I could not find a picture for it. If you find it and share it, I would like to thank you very much. I am adding this page for now, it would be good if it is indexed in search engines. It will be redirected on the site later. You can view the page here.

The relevant section and image were added to the homepage. @yorikvanhavre would you look at these others?
@TadPath I chose your project for this topic, I hope you don't mind. If there are better images and even better animations, I can work in them. For animations, you can check the properties page.

Wouldn't this be best on the wiki than on the homepage, so it is easier to edit/increment, and also can be translated?

Hello @Reqrefusion , that's great. I have several candidate short animation videos but I am not sure how to submit them. What 'properties page' are you referring to? I don't see a 'properties' link on the top of the FreeCAD home page.

In regards to your 'FreeCAD in Science and Research' references list you might want to add the following re PUMA:

Tadrous, P. J. (2021). PUMA–An open‐source 3D‐printed direct vision microscope with augmented reality and spatial light modulator functions. Journal of Microscopy, 283(3), 259-280. 10.1111/jmi.13043

Tadrous, P. J. (2023). Use of a refractive index–coupled diffuser to both generate and measure high‐numerical aperture illumination for light microscopy. Journal of Microscopy, 292(3), 135-147. 10.1111/jmi.13237

My imagination is that this is partly related to the promotion of FreeCAD, so it would be better to have it on the homepage rather than the wiki, and the current wiki does not have that advantage in terms of being easily changed. As can be seen on the page, the titles are already in their original languages. It wouldn't be right to translate them.

Did I say Properties? It was supposed to be Features. You can look at the animations in the sections that say "Assembly solutions for every need" and "Also for architects". You can upload the videos here. As long as they are not too long, there will be no problem. I think it would be a great convenience for me if the background is removed, but it will work on a single color background. I will process all frames of the video one by one. I'm already very curious. It may be the most beautiful thing on the site, the most beautiful thing right now is the folding chair. Because they're cool on their own, with a little editorial magic they become great promotional material. Congratulations on doing something so cool.

Also, thanks for sharing your work, it must have been overlooked.

Hi @Reqrefusion ,
I see the page you mean now. My vids are mostly not so 'pure' as those but one or two of them might be suitable. Since the megabyte count is high I just plonked them all in a folder on my Google drive and here is the link:
PUMA FreeCAD vids folder on Google drive
You can browse and see which might be suitable. You can also take single frames from them if you think they will make a better static illustration.

Great videos but they require a lot of work, maybe I'll make them one day, but for now what's available is good. @yorikvanhavre @prokoudine what do you think?

I like the "Extremely scientific" box a lot, but I still think the contents should go on the wiki instead...

I tried my luck, didn't I? I will update this place when I move the relevant page to the wiki. Of course, it would be better if someone does it before me.
