Releases: GGIEnrike/surfer-browser
v0.1.0-alpha.4
Finalised the one-tab prototype. Now it's time to add tabs! They should introduce some inner reworking that needs to be done to create them. And after the tabs are done, it should be time to make the first published version!!
v0.1.0-alpha.3
Alpha 3
- Added go home button in the settings dropdown
- Technical improvements
v0.1.0-alpha.2
New alpha, v0.1.0-alpha.2 is out!!!
New in this release:
- Page loading indicator. Line under the title bar will turn blue when the page is loading.
- Settings dropdown. In the top right corner of the screen there is now a gear button that opens a dropdown.
- Theme switching. There is currently only one option in the settings dropdown and that's the dark theme toggle. Toggle it to turn on the dark theme, press again and turn on the light theme. Refreshing the page may be required to make the webpage update to the new theming.
I'm unable to attach any binaries because I'm experiencing issues with the build system
v0.1.0-alpha.1
Surfer v0.1.0-alpha.1 is released
This is the first version of the Surfer browser, which is still in its early development. This release brings basic functionality to the browser, such as the ability to go back and forward between the pages, refresh the page, use the search bar, pinch to zoom, etc.
This is not a production ready version, use it at your own risk, you may experience undesirable behaviour!!!
Only MacOS is currently tested/supported, so you may get weird title bar functionality on Linux.
As it turns out Windows isn't supported.
To install the browser, select the matching platform/architecture pair binary file:
- Darwin stands for macOS platform, Intel Macs are x64 based arch and Apple Silicon (M1, M2, etc.) Macs are arm64 based arch.
- Windows platform is not supported at the moment.
- Linux is linux, but you already know that if you're using it.
If you encounter any problems or lack of features (you will), make a new issue on this repository and I will work on it.
Thanks for using Surfer
