Installation Guide
This guide will assist you in installing and running the SilverMation on your system.
Before installing SilverMation, Let's make sure your system meets the following requirements. You can verify this by right clicking on Start or Windows logo on the Taskbar. Your Windows specification will be listed under Windows specifications.
Or you can also press Windows + R, type winver, and press Enter to view the winver dialog.
To run SilverMation, your system must meet the following criteria:
- We Recomend you to run it from Windows 10 (1803+) or Windows 11 (64-bit systems)
- Ensure you have .NET 8 Runtime or Greater .NET version installed. If not already installed, start the program, and you'll be prompted to download and install it. Remember to regularly update your Windows version for optimal performance.
To install the SilverMation, navigate to the release page and select the latest version of Listed (Recommended) or you can pick the version you want
There are two types of installers available Traditional Setup Wizard (.exe Variant) and Modern Installer Experience (MSIX, .rar Variant). Each type has its own advantages and disadvantages.
- Let's start with the Traditional Setup Wizard variant. After downloading and running the installer, you will see the Setup Wizard installation window. To proceed, click the
Nextbutton. and follow the instructions on the way. and done you successfully installed the SilverMation. This installation variant is very Stright forward. The downside is we cannot control our app from the settings like how Modern Installer Experience variant.
- Now let's continue with the Modern Installer Experience variant. This installation variant has slightly more step, but we have advantages to controls our app from the settings like resetting or repair the application and uninstall it without effort from installation dialog without opening Wizard window again.
After downloading, you need to extract the .zip file. This is how it will appear once you have successfully extracted the ZIP file.
Next, double-click on the SilverMation_CertificateInstaller_v1.0.0.cer file (this allows us to install the MSIX without error). Click Install. select Local Machine on the store location, and press Next. When the UAC (User Account Control) dialog appears, select Yes.
select Place all certificates in the following store on the store location, and Click Browse, then Pick Trusted Root Certification Authorities (it was located on the second line from the list) and press OK. Click Next and then Finish.
A message saying The import was successful will appear, indicating the completion of the certification step.
Finally, double-click on the SilverMation_Setup_vx.x.x.msix file and press Install. Once done, you have successfully installed the SilverMation!
If you encounter an error during installation, it may mean something went wrong in the certification step, so please follow the steps carefully.
If you've successfully installed it, it will look like this. You can find it in the Desktop, Start menu Recommended section and in the under the All Apps section.
