EDIT:
docker/build-push-action@v6does not seem to preserve the.gitdirectories in the build context, so it is not possible to rungitcommands in theCOPY-ed repo. Using plaindocker buildinvocation on the other hand does not preserve the cache, but it keeps the git history.Perhaps a suitable way forward is to run the docker build nightly, and always build it from scratch. After all, at some point we need to show how to build the system from scratch.
