An installer for quickly setting up a new Unix-based OS installation with standard tools, CLIs, languages, and applications.
This installer is intended to be used by GigabiteLabs developers to (mostly) automate the setup and configuration of a new unix-based development machine with our most common and standard tools.
However, if anyone else finds it useful for setting your envs, it is licensed MIT.
- clone this repository
- cd to the root of the repo folder
- start the installer by runing:
./install.sh
At the conclusion of the installation process, the following applications will be installed:
All Unix systems (macOS & Linux):
macOS Only:
- Xcode developer tools (via xcode-select)
- iTerm2
- GPG + Pinentry
- Check instructions here for configuration.
Linux (Ubuntu) Only:
