The first thing to do after installing the plugin is to visit the Settings page in the EIS Wizard. Settings page consists of two tabs, "EIS Wizard settings" and "EIS Toolkit configuration". In the latter, you must set a path (1) to the Python virtual environment where the EIS Toolkit is installed (which is the the Python library EIS QGIS Plugin uses). If you have not installed EIS Toolkit into a Python virtual environment yet, please refer to EIS Toolkit GitHub page. After you have set the path to the environment, use Verify button (2) to make sure that everything is OK.
In the EIS Wizard settings tab, there are some additional settings:
- Default base raster setting (1) that can be used prefill base raster selections EIS Wizard
- Docked EIS Wizard (2) that you can set to make EIS Wizard dock to the QGIS main window instead of opening as a new window
- Minimize page entries in EIS Wizard (3) which makes only icons shows for each page
- Various default visualization options (4) that will be used for plots and layers
- Categorize outputs into layer groups (5) automatically. This is used when producing Mineral proxy layers.
Remember to press Save button to save the changes. Using Reset you change the settings back to defaults.
