Imperial Assault campaigns consist of multiple missions, of which a couple are seen in each playthrough. The Campaign Packager allows mission creators to include all missions of a campaign in a single ZIP file and share this with players. This way, the players only have to download a single file and can easily import this into Imperial Commander 2.
Campaigns created with the packager consist of the following:
- Mission Pool: A number of missions created with the Imperial Commander Editor that belong to the campaign.
- Campaign Structure: A structure for the campaign that can be used as a campaign log in Imperial Commander's campaign manager.
- Icon: Optionally, a custom icon for the campaign that is displayed in the campaign manager.
To use the Campaign Packager, you need to prepare a couple of things:
- Create or modify the missions you want to use in the campaign using the ICE.
- Create a campaign structure. You can use the official campaign logs as guidelines.
- Optional: Create an icon file. This should be PNG file with a transparent background and a size of either 64x64 or 128x128 pixels.

This means that this slot is empty, and the players need to select a mission for it, for example based on whether they won or lost the previous mission. You can assign fixed missions to slots, however. When you have selected an entry, click the three dots to open a pulldown menu and assign a mission from the mission pool to that slot. |
(11) | Click this icon to return a slot to "Player's Choice", discarding the selected mission. |
