Theme: Pain-point: Now in SAP Lab China, when we get Express mail/package, it is all manual work using paper to track packages and delivery, which is time-consuming and error-prone. It is really bad experience for facility guys in mail room, and for every SAP employee, and you know, now have already have 3000 employees. Our Dream: We will deliver a system to support employee get their package using ID-Card, get automatic notification within Mail/WeChat/Whatsapp, and fully automatic processing for mail room, no manual input anymore, in long term, we are thinking to using Unmanned plane(无人机) to deliver package in Sap Shanghai lab, and have a live-demo for unmanned plane next year. Furthermore, it is cloud based system, supposedly, it can be used in other SAP sites.
痛点: SAP Lab China现在大约有3000人,这么多人的快递管理现在是纯手工操作,用一大堆纸质的表格来跟踪快递的收纳和发送,每个员工来拿快递的时候也要在一堆表格中找自己的名字,然后确认签字,有的时候可能会漏掉,或者填错、拿错快递,对于收发室的同事来说也是一个繁重的工作。 梦想: 我们要解决这个痛点,我们设计的系统首先是无纸化,所有的信息都track到系统中,然后对于员工可以直接用ID-Card来取快递,对于邮件收发室的同事可以用扫描枪和我们的系统来跟踪快递状态,快递消息的通知完全自动发送,不仅包括邮件,还有微信和Whatsapp的通知,还可以帮助同事代领快递。我们的远期目标是打算探索无人机送快递的可能性,明年在SAP Lab China做一次live demo. 另外,这个系统是基于云的,也可以在sap的其他site上使用。
Setup steps: 1.Download and install mongodb 2.Install Maven, configure proxy for Maven to make it work in SAP network. 3.Run "mvn install" to build. 4.Copy "express-1.0.war" from "target" folder to "tomcat path"/webapps 5.Start tomcat
