JabRef version

Latest development branch build (please note build date below)

Operating system

Windows

Details on version and operating system

Windows 21H2, jabref Build date 22/10/22

Checked with the latest development build

  • I made a backup of my libraries before testing the latest development version.
  • I have tested the latest development version and the problem persists

Steps to reproduce the behaviour

  1. Add subgroup to any group
  2. group.getChildren.size() not changed (should increase by 1)
  3. Minimise group that subgroup was added to
  4. Reopen minimised group
  5. group.getChildren.size() is updated

Appendix

This is more noticeable with changes from #1. When a subgroup is added to an empty group(group a), the option to keep or remove subgroups in group a's context menu when deleting does not appear until group a's parent is collapsed and reopened.

Issue is incorrect, problem was in context menu, and has been fixed in #1
