Reset state after failed to connect #5

Hello,
i use your fork to communicate with my cometblue thermostats. Sometimes they fail to communicate, which is visible in the esphome log. But the failure isn't reported to homeassistant or somehow else. Would it be possible to reset the state after failure? Because homeassistant shows the wrong values otherwise. If the state would be reset, then i could deal with it afterwards in homeassistant. After looking in your code i also found a function which seems exactly like that, but the function is empty. Can you implement this feature?
