RF signals can be used not only for data transmission, but also for environment sensing. In the indoor environment, RF signals (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, mmWave) generated by the transmitter propagate through multiple paths, such as direct radiation, reflection and scattering, and superimpose at the receiver, carrying the information of the characteristics of the environment. Typical RF sensing applications include human presence detection, hand gesture recognition, activity recognition, gait identification, etc. The major challenge in this field is the lack of large-scale datasets, especially for those DNN based solutions that rely on high quality data for training.
We collected the information of open datasets for RF sensing from different research groups all over the world, and made the list of RF sensing datasets. The credits go to these researchers who share their data. We will update the list continuously.
If you want to contribute to this list or have any other questions, please feel free to contact Prof. Zheng Yang via yangzheng@tsinghua.edu.cn. Thank you.
