Release Process

The release process is largely automated. When a change is committed to develop a PR to merge into master is automatically created.

The only manual steps required are:

  1. Review the PR, ensure tests pass, revise as necessary
  2. Merge the pull request to master using the green "Create merge commit" button (don't use "Squash and Merge" or "Rebase and merge"), using the section added to the CHANGES.md as the merge commit message
