@mcrosas since you opened IQSS/dataverse#2198 it looks like you would prefer to use the Dataverse issue tracker to track UNF issues rather than the one under this repo where the UNF code actually lives.

This pull request is about modifying the UNF README so people know to go to the Dataverse issue tracker to track issues with UNF.

If you decide to merge it in, I'd recommend also disabling the issue tracker on this repo. Up to you, of course! We could also simply track UNF issues here, if you prefer.

Great point @pdurbin - I didn't realize that all the UNF code was in this other repo. It makes a lot of sense. Let me think whether we want to track the issues here or in dataverse repo. Not sure yet what's best ...

@mcrosas whatever makes sense to you. If you want to track UNF issues here within this project on GitHub we could always group UNF issues tracked here under Dataverse at http://roadmap.datascience.iq.harvard.edu (like we do with GeoConnect).

@mcrosas oh, while this is the reference implementation for UNF (in Java), in the readme (or somewhere) we could list other implementations such as the R implementation by @leeper: https://github.com/leeper/UNF

IQSS/dataverse#2198 was moved to #2 which indicates that issues with UNF will be tracked here so I'm closing this issue.
