Handle long strings in the UI

There are a few issues with the display of longer strings in the UI:

• Display when assigning a role #5350
• email verify icon overlaps email address #4484
• Dataset Description: Doesn't wrap when there are no spaces #1634

This isn't a major issue but it's for sure an annoying one for now, and it has implications for I18N. I'm interested in fixing the reported cases but also interested if there's some way to handle this well generally. Screenshots of each case are included here.

Research for Truncate methods: checksums, long summary metadata fields #6685 will provide potential solutions for some of these issues. Might need to break this issue up into separate, case by case solutions, as opposed to one site wide solution provided in a single PR.

Suggested spinning off the account pg email display issues as UI clean in issue Email Verification: 2 issues; refresh un-verifies, verify email button should always be available. #3438.
