This repository provides the Service Assurance Server client C++ library.
A makefile is provided to compile the code to an archive file (libsas.a
), which can be statically linked by applications wishing to use this library.
This repository uses the zlib and LZ4 compression libraries. As LZ4 may not be available in all distributions, lz4.h and lz4.c are included in this repository and built into libsas.a
.
To build the library, run make
in the top level directory. A clean
target is also supplied.
The library must be built with gcc 4.4 (or higher). It has been tested on Ubuntu and Red Hat Enterprise Linux
To include this library in your application, you must ensure that all the files in include/
are in your applications include path, and you have #include <sas.h>
in your code.
To link with this library you should ensure libsas.a
is in your link path (using the -L
option) and supply -lsas -lpthread -lrt
to the linker.
This repository includes the LZ4 code from https://github.com/Cyan4973/lz4 (licensed under a permissive 2-clause BSD license - see https://github.com/Cyan4973/lz4/blob/master/lib/LICENSE). We took the code from Git commit d86dc91
