Fixes a bug where if your
tocwas empty it wouldn't show the series sidebar (even if there was content) in the seriesI think there needs to be documentation on series, because I forgot how to use the series feature 😅 but I am not sure where best to put that.
(sorry about all the other commits, I am not sure how to squash them together)
