Research Yelp dataset and get the following questions.

Research Questions

What characteristics influence between a successful restaurant and a non successful one according to yelp.

• How does a state's Gambling status affect the Rating?
• How does a state's econo,y affect the Rating?
• Does a city's distance from the coast have any effect?
• Which cities have the highest Rating?
• Which categories have the highest Rating?
• Where do most users come from?
• Do users rate local businesses higher?

Jose's chosen questions

• Do smoking restaurants have a highest rating vs non smoking?
• Which type of food restaurants are the highest rated ones?
• Deeper filters using words indicators.

Daniel's chosen questions

• Do users rate local businesses higher?
• Which state has the more involved Yelp users? Basically, Yelp users per capita
• Do users in Republican states rate Mexican restaurants lower?

• Which extractable features from Yelp better describe the rating KPI?
