I realized that using
mu
&sigma
, as commonly used in mathematical formulas is an inferior choice of labels.Basically everybody who knows
mu
/sigma
understands that they stand formean
/stdDeviation
.The inverse however is not necessarily true, so we should stick with the more widely understandable names, I think.
