Add meaning to badges

Currently we have three badges: red-philip, green-philip, and purple-philip. Each should be given a meaning, new ones proposed if necessary, and assigned to authors.

I don't recall what I meant with badges. Maybe I was thinking of having links to GitHub/twitter profiles?
