BFLC has an interlock on the HVPS for water flow, and another at the internal controller on the top hatch to prevent you from firing the laser with the door open. It should be noted that there are no interlocks on the other doors, so you can still blind or burn yourself by opening the other doors with the laser in operation. The HVPS will kill you stone dead if you fuck with it while it is energized. I cannot emphasize enough that you should not touch the 50 kilovolt part of the machine while it is operating, or you will certainly face the wrath of the thunder god.
