I am a full stack developer and School of Code Alumni. With a background in residential childcare, I’ve cultivated a passion for helping others and thrive in collaborative environments that drive positive change. Through travel and hearing the stories of others, I realigned my aspirations and began to learn how to code because I felt inspired by the possibility to leverage technology for positive change.
I fell in love with the creativity and challenging problem-solving that coding presents. To propel my learning, I enrolled in the School of Code, a software development bootcamp. Currently, I'm self-motivated, enthusiastic and continuing to expand my skills by working on a community club scheduling app for a real-world basketball club, a travel carbon emission calculator and a photography e-commerce site.
