Successfully tested on:

  • Local MP
  • Local Arma3 Editor
  • Dedicated MP (Windows 2016 Server), with up to 3 headless clients.

This commit adds new BLUFOR preset which can be turned on by assigning 'KP_liberation_preset_blufor' value of 31 in 'kp_liberation_config.sqf'.

Contains vehicles, units and weapons mostly of German Bundeswehr pattern from various CUP mods and BWMod.
Complete listing of required and optional mods can be found from the header of 'presets\blufor\bwmod_cup.sqf'. Tested only on Windows dedicated server.

Remark: BLUFOR vehicles are unlocked for building by default, all of them. Only limiting factor is going to be resources available to player(s). Player can unlock OPFOR vehicles for building by conquering military bases.
Unlockable vehicles are: D-30 Howitzer, BM-21 "Grad" MLRS, BTR-80A APC, T-72 MBT, Mi-24 "Hind" various gunship variants].

Thanks for the contribution.
Sadly it's based on .7a and not for the next version to release, which is .8.
I would like to request, that you adjust the preset etc. to fit in the .8 format concerning variables etc.
So create your preset and the adjustments with the .8 branch as base and create a PR from this to our .8 branch. That way it'll make it in the next release.
Beside of this it's a nice idea to have enemy vehicles unlocked and the mix of CUP and BW Mod

Yes, I made it for .7a for the reason it would be immediately usable to anyone wanting to use legacy code for stability reasons. It's easy enough to port over.

This PR won't get lost then for people who might stay on 7a, even as it won't get merged.
As soon as your new PR for .8 will be merged we can reference this one in there and close it afterwards, so it can be found again. 👍

Personal adjustments to mission file. "Operations Base" moved elsewhere, items in it greatly reduced due maps high demands in performance.
… fit personal preferences

Added couple additonal BLUFOR presets. Mostly employing CUP (Units/Weapons/Maps), CBA_A3, FIREWILL jet pack and so forth. Exact mod requirements can be found from the files.

Main configuration file adjusted to personal preferences.
Mission parameters adjusted to fit personal preferences, oriented toward players playing with few friends or alone.
Custom Arsenal: Contains AK107, BwMOD weapons (all from bwmod preset), selection of German weapons from CUP Weapons, German vests, body armor from CUP and some vanilla items. Also some of the weapons from Global Mobilization CDLC: Namely handgrenades DM51A1, HK G3 battlerifle (added because it's sound and feel are more realistic-feeling (basing it on my own subjective personal experience with the weapon in our Armed Forces).

Outside standard Bwmod arsenal set, contains CUP weapons like SCAR-L, HK416, STG58, Steyr AUG A1, AK107, MG3 CUP version, HK G3, Promet MR, Promet SG (both Contact DLC), SA58 OSW, HK MP4A5, HK MP5SD6, M1014, MG36
