I have been championing the physics-unit script for querying the Physics::Unit module's units rather than hand documenting each. To that end I created a very simple unit/type report but it could probably be better both in logic and in presentation.

Sorry, I had seen this issue before, but then forgot about it. Mine is really a duplicate.

Let's keep this one open as an enhancement issue. I'd like to enhance this script so that it could be used:

  • as a general unit converter: physics-unit mph "m/s" --> 0.44704
  • to print reports of the unit library in different formats: pod, html, or xml, and maybe some kind of perl hash tree format.

Other ideas?

Look at mjd's unit script, described on the wiki.
