The mine detector works like a magic device and insta spots every mine in quite a big radius. Add proximity detector sounds like beep that increases volume or kind of a electric buzzing.

EOD player still shouts "Mine detected" and a red triangle is placed around the mine, even in higher difficulty levels.

The red triangle should be optional, as it already is in A3.

Also: "EOD players" might be conflicting with user generated mods/units that you'd need classnames from I suppose

Maybe it's an idea (for the future) to add a physical device that you're holding as a mine detector, and without it... you go kaboom?

With AGM noRadio, mine detectors are essentially useless aswell.

I suggest dropping this in favour of this:

and this:
http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?181438-WIP-Von-Quest-Industries-E-O-D-System
or implement something that is compatible w/o the need of deleting a PBO or something like that.

A simple mine detector beeping thing I've worked out.
Somthing you can start with if you want to start working on this issue.

I modified gpgpgpgp's version a bit so it looks like this now:

I know nothing about modeling or animations, but made a 3d detector a while ago:

Pretty silly looking, but one thing it does it puts the detection center in front of the player, so that standing still they can sweep left and right and figure out the direction.

I've ran into a problem. If you are searching mines with using TimeBombCore class it won't find all the mines, only some of them. I'm trying to find a solution. If you are interested take a look

Take a look at AGM_Explosives: fn_CanDefuse.sqf
You need to check both TimeBombCore and MineBase

Feel free to include it in AGM if you want. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?187595-Mine-Detector&p=2856461&viewfull=1#post2856461

You can modify it and do whatever you want with it :)
