Issue re-opened because I have to think how to support both versions of Angular.
Probably with two major releases (5.0.0 and 6.0.0, equals, but with different metadata)

This issue is scheduled for next releases, because to support package format v5 I have to remove support for Angular 4. This is not acceptable right now, so I decided to wait a little bit.
However, try to understand that I cannot support Angular 4 forever, so please UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!!
