Recipe Management System

Overview

This is the final project for the Food Recipes Database. This Recipe Management System is a Python application using PostgreSQL and Tkinter, allowing users to manage recipes, including adding new recipes, deleting existing ones, and updating recipe details

Requirements

• Python 3.x
• Tkinter library
• psycopg2 library
• PostgreSQL database

Installation and Setup

1. Install Python 3.x from the official website or in terminal

2. Install Tkinter library using pip:

   pip install tk

3. Install psycopg2 library using pip:

   pip install psycopg2

4. Install PostgreSQL database from the official website or in terminal

5. Create a PostgreSQL database named "recipe" with a table named "recipes" having columns "id", "title", "cooking_time", "instructions", and "cooking_hardware".

6. Download the ZIP file of the project from GitHub: https://github.com/LawunnKhaing/Recipe_manager

7. Extract the ZIP file, and navigate to the project directory in cmd/terminal.

8. Run the application:

   python app.py
