No longer a release candidate, it's considered stable and will not receive code updates unless there is something major i.e. OS support, major breakage and dependency update, It will however receive support with any questions or issues setting-up. There maybe a future Bluetooth-Unlock 2 that will have a GUI and may or may not be made in golang, It's in my plans but won't be here anytime soon as I'm working on HoneyGO a minecraft server written in Go and I also have college.

Bluetooth-Unlock V1 RC7 is now released with a lot of changes:

Quite a lot of changes:
-Fixed grammatical errors
-Shortened names of variables
-The text has got structure and you have time to read it
-Removed some unnecessary text
-Pinging the device doesn't fail as much because the checkinterval is now being used at the start
-You may have to re-enter your device address due to the variable name change but no big deal (will still work but if you want you can delete the deviceaddr bit in config.ini)
-When the return code is over 0 it will lock so if the return code is 10 it will still lock just in case (better security basically)
-Added more comments to show what is going on (more to be done)
-The contribution list is now displayed even without debug mode (mistake)
-Now says when it's active (for non-debug mode)
-More things to be done such as a GUI (Currently being worked on, but having some issues), Better distro compatibility in install.sh etc
-I will also default the Y/N to No when the Unknown response is triggered so you don't have to start from the beginning
